Turkey Chili - No.20

BLEND No.20 CREATIVE RECIPE

Easy, warming, and satisfying, this turkey chili made with my Blend No.20 is exactly what you want tonight. It is so good and full of flavor and even better, this recipe comes together very quickly. I suggest you make it a day ahead and refrigerate. The flavors will deepen and it will be even more tasty the next day.

Black Pepper, Curry, Turmeric, Parsley, Sea Salt, Baking Soda, Herbs & Spices

Serves 8

RECIPE INGREDIENTS

  1. 1pk kabob Blend No.20                  
  2. 3lb Ground Turkey                
  3. 1½C Onion, Blended to paste  
  4. 3T Olive Oil
  5. 1C Tomato Sauce, More if Needed
  6. ½C White Wine
  7. 2C Red Kidney Beans, Canned
  8. D Sea Salt and Pepper to taste, Optional
  9. 1C Scallions, Cut Diagonally
  10. 1C Mint,  for Garnish

KITCHEN ESSENTIALS

  • Large Sauté Pan

TIPS

  • For even flavor in every bite, mix entire package at once
  • This recipe is great for excess ground meat kabob mixture from the refrigerator

PREP

  1. Empty package of Blend No.20 into large mixing bowl
  2. Add turkey and onion paste, mix well
  3. Cover and refrigerate for an hour to increase flavor

COOK

  1. Heat oil in sauté pan over medium heat
  2. Add turkey mixture and sauté about 5 minutes or until slightly browned
  3. Add tomato sauce, wine and beans
  4. Cook for 7-10 minutes or until done
  5. Top with scallion and mint and serve
